Cyanoacrylate adhesives cover a range of fast-curing adhesives, often colloquially referred to as 'superglue'. Also called 'cyano' or 'CA'. Cyanoacrylate polymerizes anerobically in the presence of trace amounts of water to form a strong but relatively brittle bond.
Special blends are available for different purposes; for example flexible CA for extra strength areas that need slight flex, 'foam safe' that does not melt foam like normal CA does, and fast and slow CA depending on how fast they cure.
Generally, all types of CA will bond your fingers (or any other body parts) together instantaneously. Usually, a "de-bonder" made of acetone is used to disconnect you from yourself should this happen.
