Compass Bio-Odin

The Compass Bio-Odin is an under-development helicopter by Compass Model.

The Bio-Odin is a developement of the 90-sized Compass Odin 90 with a re-engineered engine designed to burn ethanol. The engine appears to be a modified version of the Webra 91-P5i, usually designed to burn gasoline.

The Bio-Odin is planned to offer longer flight times and much reduced fuel costs compared to a similar nitro helicopter.

It is suspected that the Bio-Odin will make use of Compass' electronic fan cooling system to make the most of the reduced power of an ethanol engine.
