Collective pitch Esky helicopter owners have probably all stripped at least one main gear by wondering what happens when they flick the idle up switch, or otherwise accidentally knocking said switch.

Esky ready to fly helicopters are now generally available with 2,4GHz radio systems, which are a mixed blessing. While probably giving better immunity to noise, they are not compatible with any programmable transmitters; unlike the older VHF equipped models, which were generally compatible with locally available Futaba PPM transmitters.
