A linear pitch curve is a pitch curve where the collective pitch varies linearly with collective control from maximum negative pitch to maximum positive pitch with zero degrees pitch at mid stick. Typically the amount of negative pitch available is the same as the amount of positive pitch.

A linear pitch curve is often paired with a V shaped throttle curve for performing aerobatic and inverted maneuvers.
