Tail pitch slider

The tail pitch slider runs along the tail shaft and connects to the tail rotor blade grips. By moving back and forth along the tail shaft it changes the tail blade pitch angle, and so changes the amount of thrust the tail rotor generates, allowing the helicopter to maintain its heading or yaw left and right.

It is usually best if the pitch slider can connect to the leading edge of the blade grip, as this will tend to give a more useful pitch range.
