Weight balance

From RC Helicopter Wiki

In order to fly at its best, a helicopter should be balanced about its main mast, such that if it is suspended by its flybar the main mast is precisely vertical. This will mean that when the helicopter is in the air, there will be minimal rolling or pitching tendencies due to weight imbalance.

Small errors in the helicopter's balance can be compensated for by using trim, however this will make flying inverted much harder, as essentially double the opposite trim will be applied when the helicopter is upside down.
